From a hard year to a local favourite

Brasil Burgers opened in December 2020, in the middle of a hard year for everyone. The founders, from families with generations of cooking behind them, set out to share the food they grew up with in Brazil with Leeds and Yorkshire.

Every dish starts from that: burgers hand-pressed from locally sourced beef, and sauces made from traditional family recipes.

What started as a small kitchen has become a community favourite, and many of the customers who come back week after week feel like family now.

What we cook

Brazilian burgers, starting with an 8oz patty of minced picanha. Hot dogs the way Brazil eats them, piled with peas, sweet corn and crunchy potato sticks. Picanha, lamb and chicken off the grill, Brazilyaki skewers, black beans and spicy rice, and açaí and passion fruit mousse to finish, with a cold Guaraná.
